Ramneet lives in Brampton and holds a Masters of Social Work with a focus on health.
She speaks Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu and has worked primarily in Violence against Women Prevention Programs in the Peel Region. Currently, Ramneet works at Bayridge Counselling Centre as a Social Worker.
She has a great deal of experience working with youth who may be struggling with issues related to mental health and duality of cultures. Presently, Ramneet sits on the executive committee of Laadliyan – Celebrating Daughters, a not-for-profit that aims to raise awareness about the inequalities between sons and daughters in South Asian families.
She wants to use her feminist and anti-oppression lens to help guide the Community Engagement and Leadership Initiative.
